Idea generation for Fields and Frames - Innovation and Interference Project
The Idea
Project Theme: Fields and frames.
Medium: 3D illustration
Idea: F1 race illustration with the hypothetical story of an f1 driver's life showcasing how she got into F1 when the sport is mostly male-dominant.
Materials used: Cardboard, modelling clay, copper wires.
What my Idea is:
Since my theme allowed me to brainstorm ideas in any medium within the theme, I decided to incorporate my passion for Formula 1 racing into this project. The story of my project will be that the protagonist Carla is a 5-year-old toddler with her Dad at an f1 gallery where they are looking at the portraits of the F1 legends, like Michael Schumacher, Ayrton Senna, and Niki Lauda. They are at the gallery at the start because the protagonist's dad always had a dream to join f1 but could never make it so he dreams and wishes for his daughter to join the motorsport and our protagonist also wants to go to f1. From then on, I will showcase Carla's career journey and her important milestones per year or every two years.
I will be showcasing my project in the form of a circuit track with the Protagonist's milestones in a box while the other events are on a block of cardboard, these will be the Frames and the race track will be my Fields. I will showcase the milestone frames in the form of boxes to showcase their importance while the other moments will be in the open air to show that they are a passing-by memory. As my project is a hypothetical life story of a female f1 driver I will be showcasing her in a race with male drivers in the ending frames of my project.
Target Audience:
For this project, my target audience will be people who like to learn about different new types of sports and how a person is influenced by them. My target audience can be women who think that they are not capable enough to go for something that men can easily do, whether it is dangerous or easy.
